Q. How long will it take until I receive my order?
A. Since we are only a two person operation and we travel to festivals to sell our
products on weekends, please allow 7 - 14 days for delivery. We usually ship on
Wednesdays. If you placed your order on Tuesday, it will go out the next day. If
you placed your order on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, it will not go out
until the following Wednesday.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. If you need to return an item, please e-mail us within 10 days of receiving your
purchase. We regret that we cannot offer refunds, however, we will allow
exchanges if you contact us promptly. There will be a restocking charge of $3 and
you will be required to pay for additional shipping costs if necessary.
Q. When I place my order, will I get the exact same item that is shown on the
website?
A. On the bottle cap necklaces and earrings, you can expect the item you receive
to look almost exactly as it does on the website. Please keep in mind that slight
variations in the caps do occur.
Q. Are those real bottle caps?
A. Yes, we use only genuine bottle caps. None of the bottle caps are reproductions.
Most bottle caps we use are vintage and antique. A few we use are newer caps that
have been recycled.
Q. Where did you get all the caps?
A. Mainly from antique shops, flea markets, and collectors. A few bottle caps may
come from customers or friends who give them to us. We do not simply walk around
and find them.
Q. What are the bottle caps coated in?
A. It's a protective plastic coating that is permanent. It will prevent rusting and
fading. It also makes the caps more comfortable to wear and makes them look more
finished.
Q. I have a jar of old bottle caps sitting in my garage. Would you be interested in
them?
A. It depends on what they are and the condition. We may purchase or trade for
certain ones. Just e-mail us a few photos of what you have and we can discuss it.
Q. I have an old "krap-ola kola" bottle cap from the 50's. Would you be able to
make a necklace with it for me?
A. Sure, just e-mail us first to discuss details.
